Today I went to the Basilica of Saint Stanislaus for Mass. That Church is beautiful too. What I don't understand is why the Tabernacle is off to the side when they have a beautiful Altar, with Statues and an Icon of the Blessed Mother right above where the Tabernacle used to be. Why have Churches pushed Jesus to the side to be unnoticed by the congregation when they enter? It's no wonder not too many people genuflect anymore, why should they when the object of focus for the Church is off in hiding in a corner somewhere. It is in most Churches not just this one. I happen to have noticed this while at Mass. I am pushing for a return of Jesus as the focus of the Church where He belongs. He has been relegated to the sidelines long enough. God Bless
