I was gently reminded how we all live in the now. How true that is too, because we do not know the future. Just as the past is the past; that what has happened in the past should be forgiven and let go of. We all go through periods in our life; I’m sure we all would like to change, rectify. The question we often ask ourselves “If only,” I did this or did that things would be different. Well if we did that then we would not be where we are today now would we? Some of the greatest blunders in our life are stepping stones to the now. I’ve made many mistakes in my life I probably wished I could have changed, but then again it would not have given me a stronger faith. When I reflect back on my life it’s to recall how faith has played a major role in it. Not to reflect on the “what could have been.” I falter here too on occasion because it is a habit we all tend to do. Every moment in my life I appreciate everything including the good and the bad. Without some of those trials it would not have brought me to where I am today with my faith. I think since I was a kid I have always kept the fear of God uppermost in my thoughts. Some of those trials can either make us or break us. It depends also on how strong your faith is, when you know you’re never walking alone in life. We may not see or feel His Presence as we go through life but most assuredly he is right there beside you. What I truly believe is his Presence in the Blessed Sacrament. He is there, not just for me, but for all who seek him with an open heart. God gives so much of himself to us in many ways. A smile from a stranger to the birth of a child he is there. God is present in the suffering of every day life, as Sister pointed out to me. I am grateful to her for showing me that aspect as well. I know at this point in my life I am being guided for a reason; possibly to bring about a greater growth of life and faith into my everyday living. I am slowly finding out my strengths and my weaknesses. With that in mind it is up to me to expound on those strengths. Everyone out there has strengths that will contribute to their faith and the building of that faith for the greater glory of God’s Kingdom. Because society doesn’t want to be reminded that God exists, they try to stem what should be natural in humanity. So people refrain from talking openly about God and their faith. This part of life brings about respect and integrity to each human being.

This is a very nice post. God's presence permeates all of our activities and decisions if we are conscious of it. I am at times, and at others I'm too focused on the world. The more I pray and receive and adore the Eucharist, the better I am with Him. Nice job...
