Thank you kindly for that plug Marie Cecile. I very much like the new look of your Blog. You've done a very nice job.

Would it be possible to see posts covering news items from a Catholic perspective covering your area of Massachusetts?

I ask this because there is a real need for Catholics to oppose the myriad evils of our times and to remind readers of the Catholic teaching on various issues and how these teachings should influence our daily lives (how we vote, evangelize at work etc).

Just an idea. You have many gifts. I would like to see them put to use in this way if you feel God is calling you in that direction.

Your friend,
Paul

Your Welcome,

As for the other, I would but how do I go about it, since I don't watch t.v. or listen to the news. I read it on the internet in bits and pieces. I will give it a shot just point me in the direction I am to look.

It is probably a blessing that you don't watch the news or very much television Marie. Can't say that I blame you there.

I was just wondering if you could post the occasional item on what's happening in your diocese and add some commentary from your perspective.

I don't mean to suggest that you should make your blog a news blog. Perish the thought. But right now (whether we like it or not) there is a spiritual war going on and we are called to fight it. On one side are dissidents, heretics and apostates who are challanging the teaching of Jesus through His Magisterium. On the other are faithful Catholics (although still sinners to be sure, but who refuse to revel in sin) who accept, defend and promote the Church's Magisterial teaching and constant Tradition.

You know things are bad when priests and religious advocate for women priests and the New Age while persecuting those Catholics who choose to remain faithful to the Mystical Body of Christ.

Perhaps you could obtain news items from your diocesan newspaper?

Paul,

Sorry for the delay in responding.
I will see what I can do to add news from my area, and Diocese.

I love Paul Melanson's Blog. His efforts at exposing an anti-Semitic hate group are paying off. Chronicle plans another story in late August or early September on this hate group.

Good post.

God bless you.
