Witness a Transfiguration

Jesus took Peter, James, and John and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his clothes became dazzling white, such as no fuller on earth could bleach them.
Mark 9:2-3

Reflection:
What a sight that must have been for the three disciples, to witness a transfiguration. To see before their very eyes purity in it's heavenly form.

For me I too understand this, because he appeared on a pure white Host. And with it not so pure white too. In the Blessed Sacrament of Adoration he is transfigured on the pure white Host, what a vision to see.

Imagine the Apostles bearing witness to Jesus and the two who had come before him. Who are long dead and gone. They saw and then they heard from the cloud a voice, it's beautiful to read of this account. This is my beloved Son. Listen to Him. In our time we shut Him out many times. We don't listen to Him. Unless it happens to you. To witness a transfiguration, or a voice that says loud and clear what God has said to you. "This is my Beloved Son, Listen to Him." It's time we all started to open our ears and begin listening.
