Earthen Vessels

The song, "Earthen Vessels" that I'm listening to reminded me how our bodies are the earthen vessels for God to dwell in. How can Our Heavenly Father dwell within us when we have so much clutter in our minds and hearts? We are all called to Holiness and it is up to us to change how we are for the Greater Glory of God's Kingdom. I can give myself as an example of God's transforming grace. He allowed me to live my life by my will and thru the years I kept God always within my heart. As I believe many people do also. But as I seem to understand or given the understanding on how by the Grace of God I was allowed to see His face; Iwill try to explain without repeating myself as I have done on a few things. As I grew up there were many things that I did not do that contributed to what led to where I am today. I did not realize a few things until it was pointed out to me. One of those things happen to be not talking about another person behind their backs, better known as gossip, it is something I never indulged in. I was always taught to be kind to everyone I meet no matter how they treat you. That is what is asked of us by Jesus. I can not make people believe nor can I make them Love God any more than I do. When we judge people without knowing them is not a wise thing to do. I've always kept that in mind when I meet people to never judge them by what I see or by what I hear about them. It is not my place to do so. So in this world we live in we are all too often judged by how much we earn or what kind of car we drive or what designer name of clothes we wear. What type of hairstyle or what accessories we wear to show off the wealth we have accumulated; we judge others so much it becomes second nature. Then we as a Christian are not watching out for our earthen vessels. Why would our Loving Father want to dwell within if God didn't Love us so much why would He go out of his way to save us by sending his Son 2,ooo years ago. Is Christianity so shallow in Faith that what we are actually doing is destroying ourselves on purpose just to see Jesus come back? I see Him because I have Him in my heart.
