Adoration

During the years of my absence from Church, I never once forgot about God. It's not okay to do what I did, which is sin, and knowing it was wrong. I stayed away because I did not want to offend God any more than I had already. I never realized how sin makes a person very negative about themselves and others around them. I am deeply thankful for God's Saving Grace in my life, for without God's reaching hand to mine I would be lost forever in darkness. I realize now more than ever how negativity can cause such destruction in our lives. Because of how negativity affected my life I choose to live in a positive light, by surrounding myself with positive things. I found myself veering away from people who show negativity toward me because I am different from them. I found that they chose gossip, judgment of others their guide in life. I often wondered why there is such division in Churches today; I understand it better than I wanted to. All too often when people are different or their circumstances in life have them at a low level, we are all too often given the cold shoulder by a Christian Community that touts Love as their Motto. Are we not supposed to Love God above all else and Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself. I wonder why it's so hard for a Church Community to Love Thy Neighbor when most of them do not love themselves. It is my understanding that when you Love God first, Love of your neighbor will follow. Then God is not the first in their lives as it should be, instead they pick and choose who they want to love and be seen with. So if a drunken person came to mass to receive Our Lord then we, as God's children, should receive this person also. This person is making a conscious effort to be with Our Lord to change their life. How much effort are we putting into our relationship with him by rejecting those who are different from what we deem normal. Then we are actually rejecting Our Father by the rejection of neighbor. When we adore Our Heavenly Father in the Blessed Sacrament we are showing our Love and respect for Our Fathers Love for us. How many of us actually go before Our Father in Adoration and give Him their Love? Being taught by the Greatest Teacher is quite a blessing especially when the Father thanks you for what you have prayed for. Then you know you have prayed for the Good of Mankind. How many of us know how to just be with the Father in Adoration? To let the Fathers Love envelop us and guide us. How come in a World that has so many Christians that believe in God can let it happen that they let God become erased from all aspects of life. Has Christianity let people be their guides rather than God our Father; His words in the Bible are to guide us every step of the way. Do we appreciate the many Gifts that have been given to guide us, when we adore Our Father in the Blessed Sacrament he showers His Graces upon us, when we open our hearts before the Blessed Sacrament God's love is boundless. I wonder what part Zerubbabel had in the Old Testament that he would come to my mind Sept 25th on Sunday during Adoration. That is part of His teaching when we open our ears to His way. God Bless
