Thursday of the First Week in Ordinary Time

Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil and unfaithful heart, so as to forsake the living God.
Hebrews 3:12

Reflection:
We should always take care to be a faithful people to God. Since he lives among us in all that we come across. But mostly in the Eucharist where we can find him on a daily basis.

How do we receive him at times? Have we had a night of carousing, or fighting with our spouses before we go to Him. Think about the pride we have, when we refuse to go to reconciliation thinking that we don't sin. Anger, lust, greed, hatred, following the occult but practicing faith, can anyone else name a few that would basically give us an evil and unfaithful heart.

What is the rememdy then? Not just love of God and neighbor, it entails practicing faith that is faithful to God. It is following what he teaches us. It is doing HIS WILL even when he gave us free will. That is love and faithfulness.
