Robins

There is something remarkable about seeing robins in the middle of January during a snow storm. This is the second time I have had the pleasure of seeing this in the last few years. It's incredible to see them fly around as if playing, when they are snagging little snow fleas. This particular flock of robins are very pudgy and so very pretty.

God gives us little lessons through his creatures, as he has made known in his word, "Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather up nothing into the barns yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they. (NAB) Matthew 6:26

What a beautiful lesson to know that he loves us so much to provide us with all we need, all we have to do is trust in Him. He keeps telling us this in all that we see, and all that he reveals in his word. It's just up to us to see and hear with faith. He tell us not to worry, God does take care of things even when we don't realize it.
