Tuesday, Second Week of Lent

The greatest among you will be your servant. All who exalt themselves will be humbled, and all who humble themselves will be exalted. Matthew 23:11-12

The best example is the very one whom we condemn daily. Jesus was the greatest among us, he became our servant, to bring us healing, love and salvation. Only difference he never exalted himself, he gave so much more of himself, even up to the point of death. Because he humbled himself for our belief, he was then exalted, his love and mercy was beyond what we can ever imagine. Jesus is one role model that we all should strive to imitate.

What a beautiful post Marie Cecile. I apologize for not answering your last comment at my website sooner. I've been busy this past week as I apply to a Religious Community. It's quite a process now. Criminal background checks, psychological testing, letters of recommendation, etc.

Thanks for your kind thoughts Marie Cecile. In the midst of a world saturated with ugliness, lies and a general contempt for truth, goodness and beauty, it is always refreshing to see a little flower growing and prospering and contributing light, love, happiness and peace. And you are that little flower.

God love you,
Paul

Dear Paul,

Thank you for your dear and kind words. You need not apologize though, I never expect responses. I'm glad that you do :). I am thrilled that you have taken a step closer to God by applying to a Religious Community, my prayers are with you as you embark on a wonderful journey. You should have no problem passing those tests. What community are you applying to?
Thank you for the beautiful words of the little flower.

God's love smile upon you,

Marie Cecile
