Fifth Sunday of Lent

for I will forgive their evildoing and remember their sin no more Jeremiah 31-34

If God didn't forgive us we would not be in existence. It seems that everything he has done throughout the ages, is to help us come to him with our own wills. Where we can joyfully give our wills to him. His constant forgiveness for our petty and sometimes rotten ways, should bring us back to him faster than we have been getting to him. We should be all running back to God, but it seems more than anything that evildoing is what we prefer. Just like we are amongst each other, we hurt those we love, so it is with God. Why do we hurt each other and God too? Are we looking for more than forgiveness?
